Founded in 2018, with online ISSN 2596-0016, it is a continuous-flow electronic journal. From 2026 onwards, it ceased being published semi-annually and updated its continuous publication model. Since 2021, it has been linked to the Institute of Biological and Natural Sciences of the Federal University of Triângulo Mineiro; in partnership with the Postgraduate Program in Physiological Sciences.
The journal presents results of scientific research, literature reviews, and notes, in four thematic areas: Biotechnology & Production; Education; Environment & Biodiversity; and Health.
