Análise cienciométrica de estudos utilizando SOPARC: Explorando diferentes contextos na atividade física
Abstract
Objective: To analyze the applicability of SOPARC (System for Observing Play and Recreation in Communities) as an observation tool, with a focus on describing and evaluating the observational methods used in different physical activity contexts. Methodology: This is an exploratory-descriptive, qualitative-quantitative study carried out on the PubMed, Scopus and Web of Science databases. VOSviewer software was used for selection and scientometric analysis. A total of 360 articles were screened, of which only 23 met the requirements established by the inclusion criteria. Results: The authors who stood out for the highest number of connection networks in their studies using SOPARC were Myron F. Floyd and Aaron J. Hipp. The countries with the highest number of publications were the United States, followed by Denmark and Canada. The keywords with the highest co-occurrence in the articles were "physical activity", "parks" and "built environment". Conclusion: The SOPARC instrument is used in different places around the world, with the authors mentioned standing out and studies in developed countries predominating. There is a clear interest in studying the promotion of physical activity in open spaces, but there is a need for studies using SOPARC in other environmental contexts.
