Resumo

This special issue of the Revista Brasileira de Ciência, Tecnologia e Inovação (RBCTI) brings nine unpublished articles, which deal with different approaches related to water resources and water, in a broader way, eight of them carried out in Mato Grosso and one in the state of Tocantins. These are studies developed by professors, undergraduates, graduate students and graduates of graduate programs at public universities, in co-authorship with managers and professors from public institutions. The papers were presented at the 5th Seminar on Research, Management and Conservation of Water Resources (5th SEMIHidro) and were previously reviewed and approved by the Scientific Committee of the event, among the various articles submitted for publication.
