Resumo

This special issue of the Revista Brasileira de Ciência, Tecnologia e Inovação (RBCTI) brings thirteen unpublished papers, which deal with different approaches related to environmental studies, carried out in many states of Brazil. These are studies developed by professors and post-graduate students of different institutions.
