Um Esporte, Lazer e Educação Social
Abstract
SUMMARY
This article presents the relationship between man and Physical Education, highlighting the possibilities of Sport and Leisure used by teachers to assist in the integral formation of the being in question. To carry out this research, which is characterized as a bibliographical survey, a theoretical basis will be carried out based on consultations and publications about the context, based on authors such as Alcides Scaglia, Valter Bracht, Elenor Kunz, Vitor Marinho, among others. The objective is to clarify the multiple functions of sport and leisure in society, analyzing their different functionalities and perceptions, from the social framework to fun, different methods of applying the practice, from militarism, which was responsible for using the entire manipulative arsenal configuring the different ways and means in daily practices of militaristic regimes, preserving physiques and disassociating the mind, affecting the integrality in the formation of the being, to the critical and emacipatory conception that makes use of freedom of expression in order to assist in the formation of a critical and expressive subject to the events that surround them.
