Abstract

Among the new technologies, the internet is the most complete tool to be used in the classroom. Its use allows teachers to make their classes more motivating, dynamic and attractive, helping the teaching-learning process of science and biology content. In this sense, the present work sought to investigate how the relationship of science and/or biology teachers with the internet occurs, identifying how this tool is used in the preparation and delivery of classes, as well as its importance in the teaching-learning process and which the greatest difficulties these teachers have encountered. A total of 15 teachers from state schools in the city of Uberaba-MG participated in this research, in which they answered a semi-structured questionnaire. The results obtained showed that, contrary to popular belief, teachers have sought to specialize and are introducing the internet every day, not only in the teaching-learning process, but in their daily lives, making it an increasingly present tool. in teaching.
