The objective of this work is to analyze aspects of singularities and biodiversity expressed by teachers undergoing initial training in natural sciences. The theoretical perspective has been questioning the hegemonic model based on scientism in the formation of teachers in natural sciences, seeking to provoke new paths based on intercultural relations. The construction of the data occurred through the clipping of a Likert-type questionnaire. In this instrument, we selected affirmative phrases with two main focuses: 1) reflecting anthropocentric, socio-environmental and romantic dimensions of biodiversity; 2) particularities of broader identities and perspectives, whether social or institutional, that delimit possible traces of singularities. The participants are from the Federal University of Triângulo Mineiro (UFTM) and the State University of Minas Gerais (UEMG), belonging to courses with qualification for teaching in natural sciences. In the results, we noticed a greater agreement among the participants when the statements manifested socially consensual phrases or referring to concepts of knowledge in science. When other statements brought these same themes from a more problematizing and controversial perspective, there was a large number of contradictory positions between the statements, in addition to an increase in the impartial option. From the set of these positions taken at these times, it is possible to perceive contradictions that also suggest biodiversity conflicts, relationships built by territorialities and traces of their singularities, therefore, it contributes to rethinking the training process considering these elements.
