In this context, the National Education Plan (PNE) stands out, a ten-year plan, approved by Law No. 13,005/2014, and which will be in force until 2024. The objective of this article is to make some considerations about educational policies, as well as the PNE (2014 ¬-2024), based on PNE surveys, articles from the SCIELO database and the CAPES Periodicals portal. The studies carried out showed that educational policies are presented as the result of a political, historical, cultural and dialectically elaborated process in the interim of interests and conflicts between the different agents that permeate public policies. At the heart of the PNE, the scenario is worrying, 75% of the goals were not achieved and 25% were partially achieved.
