O Potencial da Biorrefinaria Integrada na Indústria Cervejeira: Um estudo de viabilidade e Oportunidades Sustentáveis

Resumo

O trabalho realizado explora a integração de biorrefinarias na indústria cervejeira com o objetivo de promover a sustentabilidade ambiental através do aproveitamento de subprodutos, como o bagaço de malte. A metodologia adotada envolve uma revisão bibliográfica detalhada, focando em artigos científicos dos últimos cinco anos que discutem a utilização de biorrefinarias na indústria cervejeira para converter resíduos em produtos de valor agregado. O trabalho demonstra que os processos de hidrólise ácida e enzimática são eficazes na quebra das ligações complexas da biomassa, facilitando a liberação de açúcares fermentáveis e compostos bioativos, com potencial para a produção de bioetanol e outros bioprodutos. Os principais resultados do estudo indicam que a aplicação de biorrefinarias pode significativamente diminuir a geração de resíduos, promovendo a reutilização do bagaço de malte em diversos produtos, como biocombustíveis, alimentos funcionais, e materiais biodegradáveis. A integração de tecnologias não apenas contribui para a redução do impacto ambiental, mas também oferece benefícios econômicos, aumentando a eficiência e a competitividade da indústria cervejeira.
