In studies on social inclusion, the theme of educational inclusion has gained evidence, with a diversified approaches and theoretical-methodological perspectives. This article aims to identify the types of approach carried out in research on social and school inclusion of children and adolescents from families benefiting from the Bolsa Família Program (PBF). The methodology of bibliographic research was adopted, identifying works published in multidisciplinary search bases. 1,634 productions were identified and 49 works were selected for review. It was observed that most works on school inclusion are related to people with disabilities and, when it comes to the conditionality of education of the PBF, they mainly address school enrollment, attendance and dropout. There is no evidence of the qualitative character of access and requirement of formal schooling, as well as its impacts on the possibility of access to social spaces based on school inclusion. Most studies point to the importance of the program in dealing with socioeconomic vulnerability.
Key words: Social inclusion; Education; Bolsa Família Program.
