Abstract

Objective: to analyze the evidence of remote teaching in the context of COVID-19 from the perspective of undergraduate nursing students. Method: study with a qualitative and exploratory approach, carried out between the years 2021 and 2022 with 11 students of the Bachelor's Degree in Nursing at the Federal University of Pernambuco, Recife, Pernambuco. Results: the interviews resulted in four categories: Perceptions about remote teaching; Use of digital platforms during remote teaching; Perceptions of students inherent to classes taught by teachers during remote teaching; and Futuristic prospects for remote teaching. Conclusion: based on the analysis of nursing students' perspectives on remote teaching in the context of COVID-19, it was noticed that emergency remote teaching led to positive and negative repercussions, as well as that there was a deficit in the teaching-learning process.
