CONTRIBUTIONS OF NURSING THROUGH PLAY TO THE WELL-BEING OF SCALPED CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS

Objectives: To describe the contribution of nursing through play to the well-being of scalped children and adolescents; to identify the effects of the playful activity presented on the well-being of children and adolescents with scalping through the perception of caregivers. Methods: This is qualitative methodological research, developed in a Maternal-infant reference hospital in Belém/Pará. Participants were 5 family members and data were collected between March and June 2023 by individual interview using a script prepared by the researchers. Results: For data analysis, Bardin's content analysis technique was used, which allowed the organization of two categories: Perception of the family member/responsible in front of the playful activity; Contributions of Nursing in the emotional picture of children and adolescents victims of scalping with the use of playful activities. Conclusion: It was possible to identify that nurses who use the playful in care, generate positive effects on the quality of life of scalping victims and their families.
