Data were obtained through questionnaires with questions about the demographic and academic characteristics, in addition to questions related to the topic of vaccination. Data were processed using the Stata 16 statistical program. Significant differences were considered when p-value ?0.05. A total of 113 students participated in this research, most of the respondents were female, aged between 18 and 23 years old, studying Nursing course, and who were in the third year of the course. Low knowledge of academics was pointed out, with a negative association with the variables age group, course and years attended. It is important to emphasize the role of the university in the training of health professionals, as they lack knowledge throughout their academic training on the subject of vaccination.
